Sunday Recap
December 28th, 2009 by In Focus Church
Look for the podcast and video of yesterday’s sermon, available tomorrow. In the meantime, here are a few memorable points taken from yesterday’s message concerning how to “remember correctly”:
- Remembering what God did yesterday allows us to believe Him for today.
- Remembering correctly allows us to step out in faith even when we don’t see how God could come through.
- Remembering correctly allows us to be anchored to truth and reality instead of tossed by imaginations and lies.
- Remembering correctly allows us to not forget to lead others to Christ (as we remember where we came from).
- Remembering gets us out of a vicious cycle and keeps us in a victorious cycle.
- Sometimes we need help remembering correctly (and it is our job to help others in the Body of Christ remember the truth).
- God is gracious even when we forget who He is, what He has done, and how much He has done for us!

Really excellent and key points to spiritual victory and grounded thinking in a time where we often look too hard for signs and romantic tied-togethers.
Thanks, Brent, for communicating so well!
